With around 100, pitches for caravans and tents, plus a rally field, the site is open all year round and is so popular, the owner, Paul Bagnall, was thinking of expanding. After discussions with a friend, he approached EnSo to come up with a solution to process the increased volumes of wastewater, utilising the existing sewage treatment equipment in the new scheme.
The Ocean Professional 160 was installed to supplement the existing Titan treatment plant and allow for site expansion. Using Submerged Aerated Filtration (SAF) technology, the Ocean plant was installed by the owners and then commissioned by the EnSo team. Discharge consents have consistently been met since installation. Paul Bagnall said “The products which you have supplied and recommend have coped well especially at peak times which had always been a worry. As they say, it does what you said it would do.”
In addition, EnSo supplied the Ocean Energy Saving Device which allows the owner to manage the energy usage of the plant when the park is out of season, thus saving them money.
EnSo provide the ongoing servicing for the whole site, visiting twice a year to ensure that all the plant is working correctly and that the final effluent discharge remains at a high standard. Owner Paul commented “Your service team have always dealt with any problems ASAP and let us know of any faults which they have found when on site. These faults so far have been on products that you have not supplied”.
